Our firm focuses on providing counseling and litigation services to employers on a wide variety of issues that arise in the workplace. These services include advising small and mid-size businesses on issues regarding hiring, termination, employee handbook review and enforcement, as well as compliance with state and federal law in civil rights, unemployment, minimum wage/overtime compensation and family or medical leave matters. Additionally, our firm works with businesses in drafting employment contracts, employee handbooks, non-compete agreements and severance agreements.

Further, the firm provides employment litigation defense to employers in both state and federal courts and administrative agencies on legal actions that include breach of contract, Whistleblower claims, violations of the Michigan Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act regarding alleged discrimination or retaliation, Title VII of the Federal Civil Rights Act and violations of the Michigan Persons with Disabilities Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
